Needlepoint Bipolar Ionization (NPBI) technology can reduce airborne pathogens, particles and odors, while saving energy and without generating harmful byproducts.

NPBI produces a high concentration of positive and negative ions, delivering them to the space via the buildings ventilation system. Within the air stream, ions attach to particles, where they combine and become larger, making them easier to filter from the air. When ions come into contact with pathogens, they disrupt the pathogens’ surface proteins rendering them inactive. The ions break-down harmful Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) into harmless compounds like oxygen, carbon dioxide, nitrogen and water vapor. The ions travel within the air stream into the occupied spaces, cleaning the air everywhere the ions travel.
